Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 June 2026
This policy explains what IR(R) Revision collects and why. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the service.
What we collect
- Account data — handled by our authentication provider, Clerk (your name, email, and login credentials). We do not store your password.
- Payment data — handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details; we retain only a payment/session reference and your access expiry date.
- Usage data — your quiz attempts and scores, comments and votes, and the questions you mark as “seen in a real exam”, so we can show your results and build your personalised revision set.
How we use it
To provide the service, show your results and progress, operate comments and the crowd-sourced exam-frequency feature, take payment, and prevent abuse. Our lawful bases are performance of our contract with you and our legitimate interest in running and securing the service.
Aggregation and privacy
Exam-frequency charts only ever show aggregate counts. We never reveal which user marked a particular question as seen.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the processors that run the service — Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), our database host (Supabase), our hosting provider (Vercel), and Crisp (support chat, if you use it) — each acting on our instructions.
Retention and your rights
We keep your data for as long as you have an account. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and you may object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, or to have your account and associated data removed, email us and we will action it.
Contact
For any privacy question — including access, correction or deletion requests — use the support chat on this site, or the email address given in our Terms.
