Terms of Use
Last updated: 26 June 2026
These terms govern your use of IR(R) Revision (“the service”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Not official, not instruction
IR(R) Revision is an independent revision aid for the UK Instrument Rating (Restricted) / IMC theory exam. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced by the Civil Aviation Authority, and it is not official examination material or flight instruction. You must always confirm any information against current official publications (including CAP 804 and the UK AIP) and the guidance of a qualified flight instructor. Nothing here should be relied upon for the safe operation of an aircraft.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to enter a binding contract. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.
3. Access and payment
Full access is sold as a one-time purchase of £9.95 granting 30 days of access from the time payment completes. It is not a recurring subscription and does not renew automatically. The fee is for access to this study service only and is not the CAA examination fee. Payments are processed by Stripe; applicable taxes may apply. Cancellation and refund rights are set out in our Refunds & Cancellations policy.
4. Acceptable use
Use the service for your own personal revision. You may not redistribute, resell, scrape, or republish its content; share your account; or post unlawful, abusive, or infringing material in comments or question submissions. Content you submit may be reviewed, edited, published, or removed at our discretion, and you grant us a licence to use it within the service.
5. Intellectual property
The service and its original content (excluding user submissions) are owned by us and protected by law. These terms grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the service.
6. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranty that it is complete, current, or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the content or from any inability to access the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence). Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
7. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; continued use means you accept the changes. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
8. Contact
The quickest way to reach us is the support chat on this site. For formal correspondence, or if the chat is unavailable, you can email support@irrrevision.co.uk.
